About My Experiences.
“Only so much do I know, as I have lived. Instantly we know whose words are loaded with life, and whose not.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson (The American Scholar, 1837)
I hope that as readers venture through this website and its documents they ‘instantly know’ the life I have lived. Admittedly, some experiences have been embarked upon serendipitously; Others, however have been carefully crafted with intentional outcomes in mind. One part of this planning has been in consideration of the ACPA and NASPA joint professional competencies for student affairs. The competencies are described in detail along the side of the page, along with brief descriptions written at three points (beginning, middle, end) during my graduate program. Below, you will find a set of artifacts that can be filtered by the joint competencies. All of the artifacts are from September 2018-present.
